After breakfast, get a warm welcome and briefing from your guide who will take you through the 5 days Uganda primates safari. Drive to Kibale the first destination of your Uganda primates tour, 6 hours’ drive along Kampala-Mubende-Fort Portal. Lunch will be served upon arrival at Fort Portal then you proceed for a refreshing evening at lodge, en-route, enjoy a magical view of crater lakes.
Kibale National Park is known for its huge profusion of primates about 13 species, 375 bird species, butterflies, reptiles and others. Over 1500 chimpanzees all survive in the extensive forest of Kibale N/Park, Western Uganda.

Day two of 5 days Uganda primates safari takes you through unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience in the lush forest of Kibale National Park after breakfast and briefing. Briefing will be at Kanyanchu Tourist Center and at 8:00am, the park guide leads a group 6 visitors for a chimpanzee search about 2-4 hours. Upon locating chimps, there will be 1 hr to spend with them, taking pictures, as the guide explains different behaviors of chimpanzees. Retreat from chimp expedition, enjoy lunch then drive to Bigodi for a nature expecting to sight lots of birds such as great blue turacos, primates like colobus monkeys, red tailed, baboons etc.

Day three of 5 day Uganda primates safari will be for you to leave Kibale for Bwindi National Park, a home to 459 mountain gorillas, chimpanzees plus other important wildlife. Bwindi is located in Southwestern Uganda, Kabale and en-route, expect to see tree climbing lions at Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Bwindi alone has 4 regions where treks to view mountain gorillas start including Buhoma, Rushaga, Ruhija and Nkuringo, where 20 habituated families of gorillas thrive.
